Clinical Consultation

A second set of eyes for the cases that ask more of you.

Some cases ask more of us. Like a client who keeps returning to a partner who hurts them, or a client whose crises leave you second-guessing every session. Maybe you’re working with A Filipino-American client whose family, faith, and sense of duty shape everything, and you're not sure how to honor that without flattening it.

I offer consultation for clinicians who want space to think these cases through with someone who does this work regularly.

What we can work on

Intimate partner violence - Assessing risk and safety, supporting survivors who stay or go back, knowing when couples work is and isn't appropriate, and noticing what this work stirs up in you.

Borderline personality disorder - Bringing DBT-informed structure into treatment, responding to crises and safety concerns, staying steady through ruptures, and holding limits without losing the relationship.

Filipino-American clients - Working with family obligation, hiya and utang na loob, faith, the stigma around therapy, and the long reach of colonial and immigration history. How to bring culture into the room without reducing a client to it.

How it works

Individual consultation: One-time or ongoing for 30/45/60 minutes depending on your needs. Fees range from $75-$150. Pay what you can option available upon request.

Open to licensed clinicians and pre-licensed associates.

Consultation is not clinical supervision and does not count toward BBS hours for licensure. Clinical responsibility for your clients stays with you and your supervisor.
